Kayaking to the Best Airfare

I was on Kayak checking out airfares this morning when I noticed this:

Unlike Farecast, which analyzes historical data to determine if an airfare is going to become more or less expensive in the future, Kayak is just collecting data from its own users, as the note suggests.

Excellent move and feature by Kayak. Perhaps it’s been there for a while now, but I just noticed it now.
