Obama The Brand
From the 37Signals security page – “the world’s most respected brands trust our web-based products to run their businesses”.

Interesting. Just goes to show how effective and pervasive the Obama movement is. The brand has staying power. And the logo looks good right next to Adidas, Trek and Kellogg’s.

I’m embarrassed to say that until I saw this post, for some reason, I had never noticed that the blue part of the Obama logo is the top of a very clear “O.” It’s like those optical illusions where it looks like an old and young woman or the candlestick one. I’d always seen the sun rising, but never the O.
It’s really a great logo, and they’ve done a super-professional job not just of designing the logo and brand (including typefaces), but managing it through the campaign and now the administration.

I totally agree. I also missed the ‘O’ until recently, when I read a description of how the logo was designed. Great stuff.
